Outreach
ISSET offers unique educational experiences for undergraduate and graduate students. We develop provincial capabilities in space research and promote visiting professor postitions, workshops, scientific meetings and educational outreach programs, including:
- CaNoRock - Canada-Norway Sounding Rocket exchange program.
- Space Exploration Symposium - each year leading experts in space exploration and technology share information on recent discoveries.
ISSET also has programs for the public:
- AuroraWatch - realtime updates on the visibility of the Northern Lights
- Space Academy - for kids who love space, our summer Academy builds knowledge and enthusiasm through fun, space-related activities
- Northern Lights Art Contest - elementary school students draw on their artistic capabilities for opportunities to participate in exclusive space-related activities
